I have been blessed with the opportunity and means to be able to embrace (semi) retirement and indulge my lifelong passion for making things. An ocean engineering degree led to travelling the world doing oil exploration, followed by a stint with a defense contractor, graduate school for an MBA, and ten years building and selling my own business. I settled down and for more than 20 years have been a partner with Informa Software, a transformative small software company in Orlando.
Along the way I studied photography, built my own windsurfers, took up martial arts, coffee roasting and beer brewing, and helped raise a couple of great kids with my wife of over 35 years.
Always happiest when fixing something, I now have the time to apply my technical skills to make tools and objects for others to use and enjoy. Crafting kitchen knives and longbows are my creative outlet, so please enjoy the fruits of my labor!
